Learn the basics of hand-building or wheel-throwing ceramics at Engage! Our small class sizes allow for students to get to know their instructor and have a more 1-on-1 feel. Work with clay for three weeks and then glaze your projects on the last day of your session! Join us for just one 4-week session to check it off your bucket list or love it and continue! Beginner ceramic students have the ability to continue in our Intro class for 2 months after their original session to gain confidence and skill in your art! Afterward, join our regular Adult Studio Classes for intermediate and advanced ceramicists! As an intermediate/advanced ceramicist you can learn complicated skills, use new clay bodies, and glazes! 

Cost Breakdown:

$175 for your fist 4-week session (includes materials, glazing and firing)

$30 per class you attend after your original 4-week session

Clay Cost (as needed) - $30 for 10 lbs of low-fire

For students who have previous ceramics experience, join our Intermediate/Advanced Class! Work with clay for three weeks and then glaze your projects on the last day of your session! Choose whether you want to use the wheel, build anything in your imagination with hand-building techniques, or bounce back and forth between the two. Our small class sizes allow for students to get to know their instructor and have a more 1-on-1 feel. Work with our expert instructors to work on your own projects at your own pace as we show you everything you need along the way. If you are a complete beginner, please see our intro class options to learn some basics before joining us in these classes.

Mondays from 7-9 pm

Tuesdays from 3-5 pm

Tuesdays from 7-9 pm

Cost Breakdown:

$175 for your first 4-week session (includes materials, glazing and firing)

$30 per class you attend after your original 4-week session

Work in acrylic, oil, pencil, watercolor, charcoal, or a variety of other mediums. Choose your own project and work at your own pace with the guidance of a nearby instructor. Learn basics of observational drawing and shading, touch on perspective, composition, texture, and more. Work on a series of small drawings to perfect your skills. Beginner students have the ability to continue in our Intro class for 2 months after their original session to gain confidence and skill in your art!
